Grant Management and Reporting for Innovate UK

Innovate UK requires that successful grant applicants (businesses, universities, public bodies, etc.) provide technical and management reports during live R&D grant funded projects.

About CardMedic

Founders Dr Rachael and Tim Grimaldi founded CardMedic in 2020 to address those with limited health literacy and help patients interact with clinicians across a range of barriers including language and health literacy. CardMedic now offers live interpreter connectivity, live translation and AI interpretation, as digital services to 30 NHS trusts, with tens of thousands of active users benefitting daily.

Together we solve

Having successfully secured the funding, CardMedic wanted to ensure that reporting and project management continued smoothly, without creating bottlenecks or extra workload for their team. Venturenomix managed quarterly reporting to Innovate UK for the full duration of the project, end to end.

Successful Outcomes

The project was delivered in collaboration with a partner bringing deep expertise in clinical workflow software and NHS operations. Over 12 months, real-time Language Service Provider matching and seamless financial transitions were developed and deployed across NHS trusts, underpinning a service now used by tens of thousands of patients a day.

“My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner. I wish I’d known about Venturenomix at the beginning – I would have gone for it straight away.”
