This quick quiz (3 mins) will help determine whether your organisation and project meets the core eligibility requirements of the Eurostars funding program. This is for the September 2025 Deadline.
Please answer each question carefully, at the end of the quiz you will get some feedback on your eligibility and an opportunity to discuss your chances of success with our team.
Section 1 - Applicant and Organisation Details
Will you be the organisation that will either be the lead or partner in the project?
Is your organisation an SME based in one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, United Kingdom?
Is your organisation classified as innovative (e.g. engages in R&D, aims to hold patents, has previous innovation funding and so on)
Section 2 - Consortium and International Partnership
Do you have a potential project idea for Eurostars?
Do you have at least one other independent organisation in mind from another Eurostars country as a potential partner?
Will SMEs contribute at least 50% of project costs (excluding subcontracting)?
Will project costs be well-distributed, with no single participant or country exceeding 70% of the total project budget?
Section 3 - Project Timeline and Focus
If you have a project idea, do you expect it will be completed within 36 months?
Does your project (or potential project) focus on exclusively civilian applications (i.e. no military use)
Section 4 - Funding and Financial Eligibility
Are all project partners willing and eligible to receive public funding from their respective national funding bodies?
Have you consulted your national funding body to confirm country-specific rules?
