What is this funding body about?
The European Innovation Council is Europe’s main innovation programme which offers expertise and grant funding for SMEs, start-ups, small mid-caps and research organisations. It provided significant levels of grant funding to unlock, develop and scale up innovative, impactful projects, particularly in the deep technology sector.
Who can apply for EIC funding?
Lead applicants: start-ups and SMEs, individuals intended to launch a SME and small mid-caps. Sometimes research organisations and universities, or small consortia.
For some grants, a minimum number of legal entities or EU Member states are required.
