A key element of successful R&D grant project management, Independent Accounting Reports (IARs) are required by most funding bodies (e.g. Innovate UK) as part of your regular project progress reports at the beginning, during and at the end of your funded R&D project. They require a specific format and must be completed by an external accounting firm (not your own finance team).
